Directly after the cease of the Second World War the public commenced to think that the world’s ground ethical foundations are simple and logical . Both politics and social relations were depending on the principles of advancement , beneficial changes , faith in the logical , enlightenment , innovations , and the potential to explain any activity from a logical viewpoint . Notwithstanding , starting from the second half of the 60’s, the world began to deteriorate and currently , 40 years thereafter , we dwell in a new kind of existence .
We effortlessly mark all changes which are brought to us by new technology, but we rarely realize the fact that there are specific ideas which the author has put behind those technological solutions. The nature of the upcoming change was initially tracked by those people, who as a rule of thumb lived anteceding their time – writers and authors. Among the many authors whose books have served for pleasure , there have been several of them who have given the humankind a new vision . They have more effectively than others other authors created and worded authentic thoughts and have ultimately molded a new intellectual and emotional analysis of the future. They have seen issues in the mundane of our lives and have shed light onto a number of problems, which were existing without being noticed . They have assisted us to think of the new problems , and sent us new ambitions .
These were the authors who have formed the vision of the entire generation, which has observed the period of cardial change; change, which was perceived as mayhem at the start of the 21 first century. They have turned our attention to the most burning dilemmas of the previous century; those issues , which the humankind , having survived through the global wars and wild violence , was afraid to deal with . In the end they were raising the most important dilemma “What will our future look like?”

They have all greatly influenced literature of their period, have depicted tendencies and dilemmas which were classic to their people and the times they lived in, and have made the readers think about the actual system of moral, having them understand that it is far away from being flawless. One of the most fascinating feature of their work is that in mostly they have awake the person’s interest in books and written works. In this aspect one of the most exciting success writings is that of a brilliant writer John Cheever.
The achievement of Joan Rowling can be considered special as she has become the first writer in the world to make $1 billion by writing fairytales. She is currently spending a noticeable part of her money on charity, battling poverty and illness. The idea of the book was created while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first agreed to publish her book, she has awarded her 1500 pounds together with a kind advice — to look for a permanent job. He was incredulous of the idea that the young writer would be able to make a living off of writing. Joann has showed the opposite - having written a number of exceptional fairytales, she has motivated the so-called non-reading people get back to reading books.
This work cannot name and more or less exactly list all authors who have provided their contribution to the today’s literature. They have been working and presenting ideas directly into the minds of the people, and therefore were shaping the future. Thus, as we can see, these authors were not writing for entertainment only, but they were also playing a significant part in molding the culture and the views of a society of the 20th century.
